Deerfield Feby 20th 1787

Sir-
I must insist that you exert yourself to the utmost that
the Insurgents in your part of the Country who have not
already given up their Arms and taken the Oath of
Allegiance to this Commonwealth do attend on me at
Reuben Wells in Greenfield on Thursday next at
10 o'Clock Forenoon for that purpose -- let them
know that now is the Day of Grace -- and it may
be soon over --

I am Sir
Your humble Servant
Seth Catlin

Lt James Stewart
