=on Monday last John Bardwel called out his
Company & at Evening he had orders from Shays
of Pelham to have them ready to march the next
Day- Tuesday several of them met at Sim Bard-
wel's & just at Night went Home-Shays and
some others went forward tis said to break up
the supreme court at Cambridge-But not
being sufficiently reinforced he did not go there
the Court sat-a Compny of Light Horse
= from Boston took 3 Heads of the mob &
Shays & Wheeler narrowly escaped them at
Shrewsbury-Shays decamped to Rutland
returned?, got here Saturday Evening
