Verdict for Job Shattuck

trial severally put themselves on God and and the County (Christopher Gore &
Thomas Dawes esqr having been assigned by the Court as Counsil for the prisoners)
a Jury is immediately impannelled viz Saml Staar foreman, & fellows, namely
Saml Cutter, Josiah Capen, Jonas Munroe, Jacob Richardson, Eliazr Davis, Ar-
chelaus Felton, Silas Gates, Nathan Barrett, Jona Patch, Moses Abbot and
Isaac Wilkins, who bing sworn to speak the truth of and concening the
premises upon their oath say that the said Job Shattuck is guilty, and that the
said Oliver Parker be discharged of this Indictment — And now the Attorney
General moves that Sentence of Death might be given against the said Job Shat-
tuck the prisoner at the bar, upon which it is demanded of him the said
Job Shattuck if he has or knows ought to say wherefore the Justices here might
not upon the promises and verdict aforesaid to proceed to Judgement against
him, who nothing further saith unless as he before had said — Whereupon all
& singular the premises being seen, and by the said Justices here fully understood
It is considered by the court here, that the said Job Shattuck be taken to the
Goal of the Commonwealth from whence he came, & from thence to the place of
Execution & there be hanged by the neck untill he be dead —
